These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the We Buy Any Bus website (the “Website”) and the sale of your vehicle to us through our valuation and purchase service (the “Service”). By using the Website or submitting a vehicle for valuation, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
1. Definitions
- “We”, “us”, “our” means We Buy Any Bus, of the address above.
- “You”, “your” means the person submitting a vehicle for valuation and sale.
- “Vehicle” means the bus, coach or minibus you submit for valuation.
- “Estimated Valuation” means the initial, non-binding estimate generated when you enter your vehicle’s registration.
- “Final Offer” means the confirmed purchase price we offer after reviewing the details you provide and, where applicable, inspecting the Vehicle.
2. How our valuation and purchase process works
2.1 You enter your Vehicle’s registration number on the Website. We use this to retrieve basic details about the Vehicle (such as make, model, year and specification) from third-party vehicle data providers.
2.2 The Estimated Valuation produced at this stage is a guide only. It is based on the limited information available from the registration lookup and does not take into account the Vehicle’s actual condition, mileage, history, or any modifications.
2.3 To receive a Final Offer, you must complete our valuation request form with accurate and complete details about the Vehicle, including its condition, mileage, service history and any faults or damage.
2.4 We will provide a Final Offer based on the information you give us. This offer is valid for [insert number, e.g. 7] days from the date it is given, unless we tell you otherwise.
2.5 We reserve the right to revise or withdraw a Final Offer if, on collection or inspection, the Vehicle materially differs from the information you provided.
3. Accuracy of information
3.1 You are responsible for making sure the information you give us about the Vehicle is accurate, complete and not misleading.
3.2 The vehicle data returned by our registration lookup is supplied by third-party data providers. While we take reasonable care in choosing our data providers, we cannot guarantee this data is always complete, current or error-free, and it does not form part of our Final Offer.
4. Eligibility to sell
To sell a Vehicle to us, you confirm that:
- you are the legal owner of the Vehicle, or are otherwise fully authorised to sell it;
- the Vehicle is registered in the UK;
- you will disclose any outstanding finance, HP agreement, or other charge against the Vehicle before completing the sale, and any such amount will be settled as part of the transaction; and
- the Vehicle is not subject to any dispute, insurance claim, or legal proceedings that would prevent its sale.
5. Accepting an offer, collection and payment
5.1 To accept a Final Offer, you confirm acceptance with us by [insert method, e.g. email or phone] within the offer’s validity period.
5.2 Once accepted, we will arrange collection of the Vehicle at a mutually agreed time, anywhere in the UK.
5.3 At collection, our representative will carry out a final check of the Vehicle against the details you provided. If the Vehicle is materially as described, we will proceed with payment. If there is a material difference, we will discuss a revised offer with you before proceeding; you are under no obligation to accept a revised offer, in which case the sale will not go ahead.
5.4 Payment will be made by [insert method, e.g. bank transfer] on the day of collection, subject to the check described in clause 5.3, and subject to satisfactory proof of ownership and identity.
5.5 Ownership of the Vehicle transfers to us once payment has been made and the Vehicle has been collected. You are responsible for notifying the DVLA of the change of keeper without delay.
6. Your right to withdraw
You may withdraw from the sale at any point before you accept a Final Offer, free of charge. Once you have accepted a Final Offer and arranged collection, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to withdraw, and we will do our best to accommodate this, though this cannot always be guaranteed once collection has been arranged.
7. Data protection
We collect and process personal information (such as your name, contact details and vehicle registration) in order to provide the Service. We handle this information in line with UK data protection law. Full details of how we collect, use and protect your information are set out in our [Privacy Policy – link to be added once published].
8. Limitation of liability
8.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under English law.
8.2 Subject to clause 8.1, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Website or the Service.
8.3 The Website and registration lookup tool are provided “as is”. We do not guarantee the Website will always be available or error-free.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us at info@webuyanybus.com and we will do our best to resolve the issue promptly.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the Website after changes are published means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
